Harmful effects of Papads, Pickles, Maida


Pickles
Pickles will kill you. Every pickle you eat brings you nearer to death

1. Pickles have low nutritional value. They contain lot of oil and sodium content.  Excessive oil can increase the cholesterol levels of individual. High sodium content in our diet affects our health by causing water retention and hypertension or high blood pressure. High salt content in diets is also known to reduce bone density in women!
2. Causes ulcer.
3. Reduces the enzymes generated for digestion. Causes constipation. As a result, pitha increases and damages the liver.
4. May cause jaundice since liver is damaged.
5. Too much salt in pickles thickens the blood. This increases blood pressure.
6. Affects kidneys because of high salt content.
7. Causes piles and fatigue.
8. Salt and sour taste damages nerves. Causes body pain and thyroid problems.
9. Makes skin dry.
10. Decreases fertility in both men and women.

Papads
Above problems also arise if we take too much oily food. E.g.  Pappad.
1. Papads have high salt content. Spicy variety causes acidity.
2. It also causes constipation.
3. Increases cholesterol levels.

Maida
1.     Maida is nothing but refined wheat flour. Chemicals such as Benzyl chloride and Alloxan are used in making Maida. 
2.     Benzyl chloride is the chemical used in making hair dye.
3.     Alloxan damages the cells of pancreas! This decreases insulin production and causes diabetes.
4.     So, please reduce the intake of parottas, puffs, samosas, noodles
