Cooking vessels and nutrition!





Venkalam:
Cooking in venkalam vessels prevents many diseases. But avoid cooking ghee and sour items.

Iron vessels:
Reduces body heat
Cures anemia
Increases the taste of food.

Thamiram (Copper):
Food stays fresh for long time
Drinking tea prepared in thamiram vessel kills the body's germs.
Reduces diarrhea

Pithalai (Brass):
Reduces fever and thirst
Reduces body heat

Iyam(Tin):
Cures skin diseases and eye diseases
Increases the taste and odour of food

Aluminum:
Food digests faster
But it is not good to use this for long time.
Avoid cooking tomato, tamarind, lemon.

Nonstick:
Increases bad cholesterol
PFOA coating is bad for health.
